Street Paws was founded by Michelle Southern OBE in 2016 after witnessing first-hand the struggle of homeless pet owners to access veterinary care.

Her compassionate initiative has since grown from a single outreach clinic to a lifeline for hundreds of homeless people and their beloved animal companions across the UK.

We are a small but impactful charity, powered by a dedicated core team of four staff, passionate volunteers and a supportive Board of Trustees.

Together, we work tirelessly to achieve our vision: a society where pet owners experiencing homelessness never have to choose between their beloved pet and a safe place to sleep.
